Email Account Setup: Microsoft Outlook: IMAP
Open up Microsoft Outlook and click on the "Tools" menu item.
From the Tools menu select the "E-mail Accounts" item.
A new "E-Mail Accounts" wizard opens up, choose to "Add a new e-mail account".
Click the "Next >" button.
For Server Type, choose the "IMAP" option
Click the "Next >" button.
Fill in the following fields as shown below using your own account information. Use mail.sentinare.com for both the Incoming and Outgoing mail server.
Enter your complete email address for the User Name.
Click the "More Settings" button.
Click the "Outgoing Server" tab.
Place a check in the box for "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
Select the (default) option for "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
Click the "Advanced" tab.
For Incoming server (IMAP)
Place a check in the box for "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)".
For Outgoing server (SMTP)
Place a check in the box for "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)".
Click the "OK" button.
Click the "Next >" button.
Click the "Finish" button.
Click the "Send/Receive" button. Email will then download into your Inbox, you can also use this button to send emails that are in your outbox.
